This summary has been prepared by VroomVroomVroom.co.nz as a guideline to alert you to the key inclusions, exclusions, requirements and other terms and conditions which may apply when renting from Enterprise. Customers will be required to accept Enterprise's Rental contract when collecting the vehicle.
Each additional driver is charged at a flat fee per day of NZD 5.75* which includes GST. The fee is capped at 6 days.
Minimum driver age is 21 years old. There is no maximum age, however drivers under 25 years old will only be able to reduce their damage liability to NZD$391* (including GST).
A young driver surcharge of NZD$14.95* per day, which includes GST, applies to all drivers aged between 21-24 years old.
Drivers between 21-24 years of age are restricted to vehicle classes Economy, Compact, Intermediate, and Standard only.
All drivers must have held their license for a minimum of one year. If any driver is on a probationary license there is an additional Probationary License Fee of NZD$23* per day, which includes GST
The Renter must not use the Vehicle outside the Permitted Area of Use. If the renter takes the Vehicle outside the Permitted Area of Use their Liability for any loss or damage will increase and any optional damage waiver selected void.
Vehicles may not be driven above the snow line from June to October, on beaches, in watercourses or rivers.
"Permitted Area of Use" means the area in which the Vehicle may be driven. The Permitted Area of Use is limited as described on our Terms and Conditions.
Parts of New Zealand are not suitable for access by rental vehicles. You must not take the Vehicle:
(i) Off road; means any area not a legally designated public road
(ii) on Unsealed roads; means a legally designated public road, that is formed but not sealed with a hard material such as bitumen, asphalt or concrete (Unless ULDL is purchased)
(iii) to Snow areas; means any area were snow or ice is present on the ground or any area where it is recommended or required that snow chains are fitted to any vehicle (unless Snow Cover is purchased)
(iv) through any river, creek, ford, stream, flood areas or tidal crossings
(v) on the following roads: Ball Hutt (Mt Cook), Skippers Canyon (Queenstown), 90 Mile Beach (Northland) and the coast road to Russell (Northland)
(vi) on all roads north of Colville on the Coromandel Peninsula, the Tapu to Coroglen road (all parts east of Rapaura Gardens), the 309 road from Coromandel to Kairnarama and the Blackjack Road from Kuatuna and Opito and Lake Waikarimoana Rd State Highway 38 (Central North Island)
(vii) or on the following highways in the South Island between the hours of 2200 and 0600 local time from April 1 until October 31; State Highway 6 and 8, between Twizel and Queenstown; The Milford Road between Te Anau and Milford Sound; State Highway 6 between Franz Joseph and Wanaka; or Arthurs Pass.
Inter Island Ferry means the ferry trip on a car and passenger ferry in either direction between the North and South Islands of NZ. Ferry tickets must be bought direct from ferry operators, and peak seasons can cause travel delays as sailings sell out. You are not able to take the car on the Ferry without Enterprise's consent and any damage caused if on the ferry is at your cost. The vehicle must be returned to the original depot, unless otherwise arranged.
All vehicles rented come with a standard cover with an excess of $4600 - $5750.
Your Loss or Damage Liability - LDL is the amount payable by you in the event of loss or damage to the Vehicle even if you are not at fault. Your liability includes damage to the vehicle, damage to other vehicles, a Claims Administration Fee, loss of use, towing and more. For a small daily fee you can reduce your damage liability. With the purchase of CDW Collision Damage Waiver you will only be liable up to the nominated liability for the cost of repair to your vehicle or any third parties' vehicle or property.
Economy, Compact, Intermediate-Midsize, Standard, and Full Size ranges from NZD$20.90-27.50* depending on the rental location.
Compact SUV, Intermediate-Midsize SUV, Standard SUV, Full Size SUV, Full Size Elite, Premium, and Premium Van ranges from 19.00 NZD$20.90-27.50* including GST per day depending on the rental location. Collision Damage Waiver reduces your damage liability to NZD$391 including GST.
If another person has caused the damage Enterprise will attempt to recover all costs from that person or his-her insurer. The amount paid by you towards damage liability will be refunded to you to the extent Enterprise is successful in recovering all costs.
Where the Vehicle is hired from a remote Location and driven between sunset and sunrise outside a city province, and loss or damage is the result of a single vehicle accident the renter will be liable for all losses incurred.

All rental rates displayed include Damage Liability only. Any optional items elected at the time of collection are subject to Location Fee and GST. Limited KM restrictions apply in some locations and or car classes.
Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel. Where a vehicle is returned with less than a full tank of fuel, the renter will be charged for fuel and a refuelling fee.
A valid credit card or debit card must be provided for all rentals. For payments, we accept all major credit cards, debit cards and cash and for deposits we only accept all major credit cards, we do not accept debit cards or not cash. Charges for options and coverage must be settled at the commencement of the rental together with a deposit (bond). The credit card holder is listed as the hirer and must be present at the time of rental commencement. The credit card deposit by way of authorisation is NZD $200.00.
A credit card fee applies as follows and is applicable to all rental charges excluding the deposit bond; including any optional items purchased and damage liability charges. There is no refund of credit card surcharges:

Union Pay Cards:
Unfortunately, the rental location cannot accept a card branded only by Union Pay. The rental location accepts Visa and MasterCard with Union Pay logo on the card.
Enterprise rental locations do not provide direct Roadside Assistance to the customer. The assistance is provided by MSS on behalf of Enterprise. This service is available 24-7 by calling 0800 44 00 66 within the country of rental. If the customer is found to be responsible for any damage to the rental vehicle; additional charges may apply.
We accept current New Zealand, International and overseas licences. Overseas licences that are not easily identifiable as a driver's licence must be accompanied by an International Licence or English translation. Valid driver's licence must be held for a minimum of 12 months.
When you have arrived at Auckland airport and have collected your bags simply phone 09-2560849 to notify us that you're ready to be picked up.
At the Domestic arrivals terminal: Proceed to Door #7 at the Jetstar terminal. From Door # 7 wait at the "hotel/shuttle/car rental/parking" pick up area in front of the terminal for the Enterprise shuttle to arrive.
At the International arrivals terminal: Proceed to Door #11 and we will collect you from the shuttle/rental car collection point outside Door # 11.
The rental location is a short drive from the Terminal where you will finalise paperwork, collect your car and be on your way.
Customers arriving at Christchurch Airport will find the Enterprise counter as they exit the international departures, turn left and the Enterprise/Alamo/National branch is located adjacent to the Spark telcom shop in the arrivals hall. Car park is located a short walk away, outside the terminal building.
Your rental will be serviced by Enterprise. Upon arrival please be on the lookout for the Enterprise counter located in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal. Your rental will be serviced there.
Customers will return their rental vehicle to the same area they collected their vehicle from, during arrival. When approaching the airport you will need to follow all signs for 'Car Rental' and then 'Car Rental Returns'. Once you enter the main car park you will need to continue straight until you come to a pedestrian crossing, at which point you will need to turn left. Please park your rental vehicle in any of the spaces marked "Enterprise, National and Alamo" and return your key to the main desk inside the terminal.
