AMEX, Mastercard, Visa, and Diners Club credit cards are accepted for vehicle payments with Enterprise. You can also pay with a Visa or Mastercard debit card. Enterprise doesn’t currently accept cash payments.
In most cases, the rental location will require a security deposit of NZD $200 at the commencement of the rental. However, the deposit amount can reach up to NZD $1,000.00 so make sure to always check the rental terms.
Enterprise has a minimum age requirement of 21-years-old, although drivers aged between 21 and 24 may be required to pay a young driver surcharge. In addition, drivers under 25 will have some restrictions on vehicle selection.
Enterprise accepts any valid driver licence, including international and overseas licences, and provisional licences held for a minimum of 12 months. However, if your licence isn’t printed in English, you'll need to present an International Driving Permit (IDP) to fulfil Enterprise’s licence requirements.
Yes. Basic cover is included in the rental quote, but if the vehicle is stolen, damaged, or a third-party loss occurs, you’ll have to pay up to the Rental Vehicle Excess amount listed in your Enterprise rental agreement.
No. There’s no need to wash the vehicle, but you should return it to Enterprise in a fair condition to avoid additional fees.
Yes. Enterprise vehicles come with a full tank of fuel, so unless you opt to pre-pay the refueling cost, make sure to fill up before drop-off. If the car is returned without a full tank, Enterprise will charge your nominated credit card to refuel at a higher rate per litre.
