    Can I Rent and Add a GPS Unit to My Booking?

    If you think maps are too big, busy or difficult to deal with when you are driving in unfamiliar territory, adding a GPS to your booking seems like a good idea. Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation devices are easy to use and guides you by giving the quickest route available.

    Avis logo GPS is available at $11.45* per day inc GST.
    Budget logo GPS costs $11.45* per day inc GST.
    Europcar logo GPS units are priced at $12.59* inc GST per day to a maximum of $125.90* (maximum charge 10 days) inc GST.
    Hertz logo GPS costs $12.60* incl GST per day.
    enterprise logo GPS devices are priced at $11* inc GST per day.
    thrifty logo A Navman GPS unit is available to hire from Auckland, Wellington, Picton, Christchurch at $11.50* including GST per day.

    Advice for using GPS

    Remember that GPS units are subject to availability, with an additional charge (taxes not included). Customer will be held responsible for all costs in the event of lost, stolen or damaged GPS Unit and all of its components. In addition, a GPS unit may be rendered inoperative if GPS is tampered with or destroyed and or damaged in an accident or if the satellite systems are obstructed and inoperative.
