Designed and built in New Zealand, specifically for New Zealand’s conditions and safety requirements, all Pacific Horizon motorhomes have insulated walls and floor, double glazed windows, and roof-mounted solar panels, along with diesel or gas heating/cooling. Pacific Horizon’s motorhome models include the 2+1 which is suitable for one to two adults, the GEM 4 and MAX 4, both of which sleep four adults, or, for larger travelling parties, the SAM 6 which can sleep up to six adults.

On renting a vehicle with Pacific Horizon
The per-day rates of some rental cars may fall if you book for a longer rental period. Prices often change around daily, three-day, five-day and seven-day periods. Also, note that the selection of rental cars available in Pacific Horizon may be more limited if you are looking for a long-term car rental, so it’s best to compare a few different booking durations first.
Some Pacific Horizon City car hire providers have depots that are easier to find and get to than others. Most of the depots within the city area are found in car parks or hotels. If you can collect a car outside of the CBD area, you may find it easier to access the car hire depot. You can check the depot addresses above to determine if you will be within walking distance of a car rental depot based on your accommodation location.
Travellers are recommended to book a hire car in Pacific Horizon if they plan to venture to the outskirts of the CBD or further. Within the CBD there are public transport options and it is quite walkable. Public transport like ferries, buses and trains can also help get you to areas outside of the CBD, however, a rental car will give you the added convenience of travelling when and where you want to.
