Hokianga Sand Dunes

Pick up your car rental from the nearest car hire lot in Kerikeri and make your way north to Te Paki Stream Road on your right. Lake Wainamu Black Sand Dunes

Forty minutes west of central Auckland you will find this black diamond in the rough. Pick up your rental car from the nearest car hire lot in either Central Auckland or our suburban pick up locations of Penrose or East Tamaki.   Load it up with your board of choice (whether it be a cardboard box, real estate sign or a boogie board) and journey your way to Bethells Road, Waitakere.

When you see Tasman Veiw Road, slow down because you will soon come to a one-lane bridge which will take you to your parking destination on your left.
